Sitting alone on a beach bench,

Embracing the rough waves,

Gathering my scattered thoughts,

 

Silence,

Originally natural,

But is it the eastern wind,

That creates angry waves?

 

On a cold night sky,

The cry of seagulls,

Fading away,

 

The fierce waves,

Suddenly,

Turn into gentle silky waves,

Warmly embracing

My once restless heart.

 

 

바닷가 벤치에

홀로 앉아

거친 파도 벗 삼아

마음 한데 모으니

 

고요함이

본래 자연인데

어인일로 동쪽 바람

성난 파도 만드는가?

 

차가운 밤하늘에

끼륵끼륵 외갈매기

날아가니

 

세찬 파도

홀연히

비단 파도 되어

분주했던 이 마음

포근히 감싸오네.
